Trace your Batch Scripts with pgEvent

If you have Batch Scripts which are doing automated Jobs, you may wanna have that the Batch File is writing some Success or Error Messages into EventLog.

pgEvent is a small Tool to write EventLog entries directly from windows command shell or out of batch files. These from pgEvent generated Events can be traced by EventLog Tracing or Server Health Tools like pcGuardIT Client Edition 1.0 also available from sunset software Ltd Liab. Co.

You can also use windows environment variables as parameters for generating peronalized entries into Windows EventLog. This makes it easy to check for example a result of a programm and then hand over the exit code of the programm directly to pgEvent, which is generating an EventLog entry. pgEvent is also included in our Server Health Tool pcGuardIT Client Edition, so that results of batch files can be monitored very easily.
