Installation instructions

	Before installing new version older version has to be uninstalled. Allready configured Programm settings are NOT removed while uninstalling.
	The application pcGuardIT is multilingual (Currently supported languages are english and german). pcGuardIT will automaticly determinate and use the installed language of the operating system. For all other operating system languages pcGuardIT will start in english mode
	Click on the download link and save the file into a temporary Directory
	Execute the downloded EXE file by double clicking with the mouse
	The Unzip will ask for a folder for extracting the Files which are in the compressed file. Normaly the from the Unzip program suggested folder can be taken. Make sure, that the Windows System Account has full permissions to this folder, because the Windows Installer needs full access to this folder.
	Click on the "Extract" Button on the Window with the left mousebutton.
	Before the setup is started verify, that the current user has local administrator rights
	The SETUP.EXE has to be started by double-clicking. This file can be found in the directory, which was given during the extract process above.
	Now follow the instructions of the Setup Programm to finish the installation.

System requirements

	Microsoft .NET Framework 1.1 with Service Pack 1
	Windows NT4, 2000, XP, 2003 with the newest Service Packs
	Screen resolution with a minimum of 800*600 Pixles (Monitor Manual has to be consulted)
	Pentium II with 400Mhz or comparable Processor
	256 MB Ram
	20MB free Diskspace on the Partition, on which pcGuardIT has to be installed

Information for the demoversion mode

	This downloadable Version is a full version of the pcGuardIT Client Edition
	As long as no valid serial number is entered, pcGuardIT will run in demo mode.
	The demo mode has some limitations, like max. 3 entries in each section of the protokoll, which is sent to specified user per mail.
	As soon as a valid serial number is entered, the pcGuardIT Client is switching to the unlimited mode.
